Do you know the way to Santa Fe?

Yesterday we said good bye to the Historic Taos Inn…

Stopped at the Taos Artist Collective…

… and headed to Santa Fe, stopping only to enjoy the Rio Grande Gorge.

Gorge-ous!

Once we got here we ate at a Michelin-recognized Mexican restaurant, Tia Sophia’s.

Two Santa Fe plates, but those sopaipillas were really the star of the show… wow.

We walked around the downtown and Chris bought an orange cowboy hat to complete his “desert disco” look for the welcome party.

We ARE in the chili pepper capital and these are everywhere!
What bird made this huge, urban nest?

We finally got to the El Rey and relaxed in our nice room where everything works and smells good.

This isn’t our room door, this goes to the pool

The disco party was great and then we went to Desert Dogs to watch/do some karaoke…

This morning I tried blue corn pancakes at the OG Pantry restaurant down the street. Verdict… meh.

Now we’re doing laundry so we have plenty of clean clothes in case we are stuck here due to weather (no!), and driving around to see the sights before prepping for the wedding!

Missing Stelly and Looler (Cho). Love you, miss you! ❤️
