OUT OF BEVERLY

As I write we are on day three of this family fiesta and a lot has happened. That first day we walked around everywhere… uphill mostly!

We ate our first pastais de nata at the best place in Lisbon…

We ate a flaming chorizo:

We went up here (well, most of us did!)…

We shopped, we walked, we ate…

We saw a fado performance…

Then today we went our separate ways a bit, and Paul, Chris, and I shopped, walked and ate…

Then we all regrouped and went to some museums on Stella’s recommendation. Started at the National Coach Museum…

Then we went to the Museum of Royal Treasure and the place that serves the best pastais de nata in the country, Pastais de Belém… and they really are the best!

Then dinner and gelato and before you know it, it’s going to be another beautiful day in Lisbon.
