Today was an epic day, you guys. We drove to Cascais for a beach day. This place is very cool and kind of fancy… art galleries, ramparts, thong bikinis, it had everything!

I tried to give our Uber only four stars for playing sexually explicit Chris Brown songs the whole way from Lisbon to Cascais, but it would not let me unless I gave a reason and, fearing a language barrier, I just let it go and gave him five stars. He did travel at the speed of light and had a very clean car.

We took a short drive to Boca do Inferno (the mouth of Hell!), a scary steep outcrop of rocks.

We climbed all over them, and then enjoyed some gelato at the snack bar while a busker played Smooth Operator on his saxophone and a tween threw a tantrum because his parents wouldn’t give him money so he, too, could enjoy a treat. Ahhh, vacation!
During some downtime Chris and I took a stroll down Teixeira Street!

We also took some pics at the Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara, just like we did last time…

Tonight for dinner we ate at a pasta place that Kaylie and I agreed had the most comfortable chairs…

… and we ate our little hearts out, enjoying the reprieve from dark meat and French fries.

Stella led the way back home and we immediately went to our separate quarters for some R&R before tomorrow’s adventures.
See you, love you! ❤️
